worth having ready.
None of this needs to be perfect or complete. Rough notes and a few examples are enough to have a useful first conversation.
- Brand basicsA logo if you have one, and any colours or style you already use. If you don't have any of this yet, that's fine, it's a normal part of getting started.
- Content and copyRough notes on what each page needs to say are enough to start with. Polished copy isn't required upfront, and can be worked on together.
- Your own photographyReal photos of your work, premises or team, where you have them. They outperform stock imagery every time, and they're what makes a site look genuinely yours.
- Domain and hosting detailsAccess to your existing domain if you have one already, or just a name you're considering. Domain and hosting can also be arranged as part of the build.
- A few examples you likeTwo or three sites you like the look or feel of, even loosely, and a sentence on why. It's the fastest way to get a shared sense of direction.
- A rough page wishlistWhich pages you think you need (Home, About, Services, Contact, and so on). This gets refined together, it doesn't need to be final.

Plenty of projects start with only two or three of these in place. Sourcing photography, drafting copy and settling on a page structure are all normal parts of getting started together, not prerequisites you need to sort out alone first.
